Jacksonville, FL 32204 Our trip to M Shack was two fold, one to eat killer burgers the other to participate in Pay It Forward Day. For every burger purchased at all M Shack location, they will provide an entire meal to folks at three homeless shelters in the area. As much as I support the small business owner, any business that supports the community gets my highest regards and business. Although I live close to the beach I much prefer the Riverside location. There is just a great vibe here, people from the Riverside area know what I speak of. I often find myself making it over to this part of town where some of the best restaurants can be found.
If you have not eaten here before, it’s an order at the counter, get your drink then take you tracking device, no numbers her and grab a seat. Food will be delivered. There is an impressive selection of burgers to choose from the most expensive being the Medurable Burger, a delightful combination of foie gras, carmelized onions and American cheese @ 18.95 to the Asian Burger with spicy cole slaw, pepper jack cheese and hoisin bbq glaze @ 5.95. The menu rounds out with a selection of salad, sandwiches and dog, add a shake and your all set.
This is what we had today. One of my favorite burgers the Portobello Truffle a beef patty with smoked Guda, bacon, truffle portobello mushroom, tomato relish and balsamic glaze. High quality meat make this particular burger a top seller. It never dissapoints.
My partner in crime ordered my least favorite burger. I can not grasp the fascination of putting a soft fried egg on everything, well anything. I can eat an egg and do eat them but they must be heavily disguised. like an omelette or Quiche.
The Sunrise Burger, bacon, sunny side egg, American cheese and the special Shack sauce made the perfect meal, a really well put together dish. The egg was perfect.
Sunrise Burger
We added to that an order of Onion Rings and Fries. I am more partial to the Onions quite tasty, well battered, without being heavy, the fries nothing special but better than some I have tasted.

You fail to mention that m shack has area specialty burgers on the menu and not all the menus are the same. Your blog is a joke…..
