Jacksonville, FL 32256 I love Indian food and have eaten some very good and very bad around town in my quest then I found 5th Element, and have been a fan ever since. I recently returned with some friends for the lunch buffet and am happy to report it is still the best and my friends agreed. The buffet at about 8.00$, with thirty plus items to choose from that will surely have something to please. There is a good mix of mild and spicy, plus a western menu available if requested. They offer up a wide range of tasty and traditional Indian dishes like chicken tikka masala, mutter paneer, paneer tikka, tandoori chicken, Chana masala, biryani, chutneys, and naan. Although I look at the names listed when I see the food I make my choices. I have developed some definite faves; Goat Madala, Lamb Jalfraize, (head rush) Yellow Dal, and Aloo Gobhi, Tandori Chicken. I put each item in one of the small metal cups that are available at the buffet table and go from there.
After you taste buds are totally overloaded, a giant cup of Mango Ice cream or Kulfi an Indian ice cream with pistachios and cardamoms or mango or perhaps fresh fruit option will soothe you
If you have a liking for Indian and have not visited 5th Element now may be the time to sample what they offer. I advise the buffet simply because of the varied of dishes available, don’t forget your besties when you go they will thank you.
