Whenever I am in the Orlando/Oviedo area, it’s a rule I must be taken to Pho 54 & Grill Vietnamese Restaurant. The interior exudes a soft, serene atmosphere that immediately relaxes me.
The staff has always been attentive and kind to us anytime we dine there. But at the end of the day, it’s the food that draws me. Food and ingredients consistently fresh, well seasoned and just enough to leave you wanting more; I like that. On this visit, we had our several usual appetizers, Pho, and a spicy beef rice dish.
A big fan of dumplings, it’s always on my list to order, this go-round we chose the pan-fried pork with dipping sauce. One of the features about Pho 54 that I appreciate, is the consistency of the food preparation, we order dishes because we know how they will taste ahead of time. We paired the dumplings with Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce it rich and heavy just like we like it.

Fresh Spring Rolls with Grilled Shrimp
My go-to Pho is the Eye of Round and today was no exception. The broth rich with hints of Lemon Grass, Ginger, and Five Spice is some of the best I have ever eaten. Served with a generous amount of greens and full of noodles, is a bargain at $8.75.
Fresh Basil, Sprouts, Jalapeno to round out the flavors
The Pho steamy, full with meat cooking in the broth and loaded with goodies
For our second selection another well spiced and kicked up on the heat a picture perfect dish containing sweet jasmine rice, shredded carrots, onions, sprouts, Thai basil and a generous amount of spicy beef. This is such a traditional dish and one of our favorites.
Beef with Lemon Grass
I am looking forward to my next trip to Oviedo if for no other reason than to eat at Pho 54 & Grill Vietnamese Restaurant.
